French's World

French's World is a 2D platformer that's openly inspired by the Super Mario saga. You play a stereotypical Frenchman who has to make his way through three worlds brimming with traps and enemies.

Controlling French's World's main character is really simple: you can control his movements with the virtual control stick on the left, while you can jump and throw fireballs (only after you pick up a star) using the other two buttons on the right.

Just like in the Super Mario games, in French's World the main character starts off really small and dies if the enemy touches him even once. However, you can pick up croissants and baguettes to make him bigger and more resistant to the enemies' attacks.

French's World features a total of 78 levels, divided into three different worlds. Throughout these levels, you have to jump a lot, kill tons of enemies, and even discover secret passages hidden in the pipes.

French's World is a rather unoriginal 2D platformer that, nonetheless, succeeds in offering an entertaining gaming experience. That being said, the control system can be somewhat imprecise at times.
